Continuing Adult Formation Opportunities
The Cluster Parishes offer several opportunities for continuing faith formation for people of all ages and at all stages of their faith journey.
Wednesday Evening Adult Formation Series
Our Wednesday evening adult formation series meets on a bi-weekly basis at 7:00 p.m. at Church of the Resurrection. We have concluded our series on Wisdom. We will take a short break during the summer, and will resume classes on the first and third Wednesday of each month starting in September. For more information, contact Deacon Kevin at 757-484-7335 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Please see below for information on our summer session.
Thursday Morning Women's Bible Study
Our Thursday morning women's bible study is open to all women and meets on a weekly basis at 10:00 a.m. on Thursdays at Church of the Resurrection. We recently completed the DVD-based series, "Fulfilled: Uncovering the Biblical Foundations of Catholicism". A new series will be presented in the fall. Please check back for details or contact Celeste Prezioso at email@example.com for more information. Contact Deacon Kevin at 757-484-7335 or firstname.lastname@example.org for an invite code to purchase materials and on-line access once we have determined the new series.
Saturday Morning Men of St. Joseph
Our Saturday morning Men of St Joseph group is open to all interested men. Designed to build fraternal relationships in faith among like-minded Catholic men, the group meets every Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. at Church of the Resurrection for prayer, scripture readings and discussions, contemplation, and fellowship. For more information, contact Deacon Mark at email@example.com.
Adult Formation Summer Session
A one-class summer session will be held July 25 at 7:00 pm at Church of the Resurrection. The lesson topic will be "The Twelve Tribes of Israel". There is no cost to attend, but attendees are requested to bring a snack to share, if possible. Please contact Deacon Kevin at 757-484-7335 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you plan on attending. This will help ensure that enough materials are prepared.
